Overview

Tubing on the lower Green River a great activity to introduce people to the magic world of the Green River. It is great for families and groups looking for a fun and relaxing outdoor experience. The Green River offers scenic views, gentle rapids, and clear water, making it an ideal destination for tubing enthusiasts. Fish Top to Lake Adger are all waters great for tubing.

 

Safety

The lower Green does have class I/II rapids so tubing the Green River is recommends only for competent swimmers.

Everyone going down the Green River show wear a Life Jacket/PFD.

Be sure to wear close-toed shoes or strap on sandals. Due to the rocky river bed, shoes must be worn on the river. Slip-on sandals and flip flops will most likely fall off and become river trash.

Make sure to strap you water bottle to the tube so it too does not become river trash.

 

Drinking is illegal within 50 feet of the Green River in Polk County. 

 

There are several commercial river tubing outfitters that will handle your tube and your logistics.

 

Anyone is welcome to tube privately as well. The Green River is dam released, so make sure to know the LEVEL and be aware of extra natural flow after it rains. Tubing the Green is not recommended when the river is flower over 150%
